Ecocharting Release: Strategy & Scope 3 are here!

Introducing the Strategy Module

Ecocharting has always been about centralizing ESG data — but insight alone isn’t enough. That’s why we’re introducing the Strategy Module, designed to help your organization go beyond reporting and actively shape a future-proof sustainability plan. It is based on the Policy, Actions and Targets (PAT) framework as known in the CSRD.

With this new module, you can define your strategic ambitions, connect goals to your material issues, and assign actions to teams, all in one place.

Here’s what you can do with the Strategy Module:

  • Set ESG Ambitions: Define long-term goals across your key sustainability themes.

  • 📎 Upload Policies: Attach your existing internal and external policy documents.

  • 🌍 Link to SDGs: Align your strategy with relevant Sustainable Development Goals.

  • 🎯 Create Material Goals: Tie goals directly to your material IROs for clear traceability.

  • 📐 Metrics & Targets (coming soon): Establish measurable KPIs and milestones (currently in development).

  • 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Assign Team Actions: Turn plans into execution by assigning owners and deadlines.

New: Scope 3 calculator is here

Did you know that Scope 3 emissions often make up over 70% of a company’s total carbon footprint? That’s why we’ve upgraded our GHG module with a powerful Scope 3 calculator — making indirect emissions visible, measurable, and actionable.

Whether you rely on spend-based or activity-based methods, our system helps you choose the right approach, leverage the best emission factors, and maintain full traceability — all within seconds.
